Lost that loving Feeling? The 6 Cups Tarot

You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips. And there's no tenderness like before in your fingertips. You're trying hard not to show it, (baby). But baby, baby I know it...] You've lost that lovin' feeling, Whoa, that lovin' feeling... Lyrics from "You've Lost That Loving Feeling"Artist: Righteous Brothers

Sometimes we loose that loving feeling. We loose it, sparkle goes, and life gets tough. Sometimes, especially when we are older, we do not simply want to move on, but yet have a need to feel the warm energy that being loved or appreciated, brings. Sometimes, our own tank of love runs empty and because we don't "experience" being loved, it is difficult to dig deep and find a trace of that love which once was there.

On the positive side, we also have our own Genie inside of us, which is our spirit, and our Higher Self. We are all linked, somehow, in the Divine Love and Light of the Cosmos. We are all linked to the Divine. We come from the Divine. That love consciousness lies within all of us. Although we may have "lost the feeling", deep inside each and every one of us, we carry the vase, or heart of love energythat comes from our Source, from Divine Consciousness.

There are many love cards in tarot. The 6 cups is one of them, and today's post is about using the 6 cups in a meditational way, to help rediscover and experience that "loving feeling"...

The 6 cups shows two children, surrounded by 6 vases of flowers. In the background, buildings which look possibly like home and or church. The picture is an offering, a vase of flowers, from one child to the other. It is uncertain really as to who is giving the flowers to who; however one child bends their knees slightly, as if trying to get on the same level as the other child, who looks up to the taller one. 6 in numerolgy is about being comfortable, and living harmoniously.

Take a piece of paper, write down the positive words that come to your mind when you look at this card.

wrote: loving kindness sharing giving receiving companionship time

What words have you written down?

Look at the colour of the card that you are drawn to. For me it is pale yellow, a colour linked to Spring, to brighter days, and positive communication. For you it could be orange, which is vibrant energy and positivity; ;or it could be red, for a little romance and putting life back into the relationship; or it may be silver grey -to add a bit of magic and surpise.

Once you have your list of words, think of the situation in that photo, and the words you have written. Think about the offering that is made. Feel, or remember, how nice it is to be in the process of receiving and of giving love, affection, kindness, of sharing happy days.

Use your words or thoughts on the card, to make a love affirmation, mine is written below. You can also include your name within the affirmatin if you wish. Including your own words adds more energy and vibrancy to your affirmation.

"I .... come from Divine Love and Light. I carry Divine Love and Light within. I can only draw to me love and light. I can only give love and light. I draw to me ..... kindness, love, and companionship of others. Harmony and love is all around me. And so it is."

It may help to "bring back that loving feeling", into your life, heart, and life experience. Why not try it, and jot down your thoughts/ results as a comment for me - it will be nice to hear from you! Perhaps you may like to look for the 6 of cups in the free downloads of tarot on the net, and print it out in a size that you can carry in your bag, or wallet, or place it as a book mark in your diary, to reflect on as the days go by.

With love and light. Happy Days.

Love and Peace. The dawn of a new age. NOW.

Peace & love - Salam, Vrede, Okikiamgenoka, Mir, Erkigsnek....

The New Golden Age is here today; at around 7 am UK time, all the planets aligned. We are now in the 7th house, the new age of Aquarious....

Imagine holding a sweet, white as white dove gently in your hands. Ask her to fly around all the people that you love and hold dear, your friends, family, people from the past and present, those far and near; enlarge your group so that you include your neighbourhood, city, county, country, and then include those countries in need, Napal, Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, Australia.... and then the world. World love and peace.

This is the dawn of a new age. We have had it tough. Now we need to realign. Perhaps if relationships were difficult then by working with peace and love, we can help nurture them into a loving, nurturing positive relationship. At home, at work. We are all united. We link with each other.

Love and peace. Take time out today. Be happy. Go ouside and give thanks. We have a new President in the White House, whose name means "blessed". His is in place at the right time. Things will slowly change. As from 7 am today, things are changing. Feel the blessings. Send out love and light in your thoughts. Be uplifted. Today, things are different. We are in alignment, drawing to 2012.

Be blessed.

"I am blessed. I am loved. There is love and peace around me. I have only love and peace for others. I am in alignment with all around me. With thanks. And so it is. And so I am. Peace. Love. I."

Let love and peace reign in your life today. And tomorrow.

Tarot in the Cosmos.

In 2009 I will be 50. I find it really hard to believe that I will be reaching half a century, and only just finding out that there truly is magic in the Cosmos. As followers of the blog will know I have been working with moon energies recently, and I am absolutely amazed at what is revealing itself to me week by week.

Yesterday, 9 February, I was very low energy wise. I am amazed in my research of the planets today to find out that yesterday was a lunar eclipse, which, it is said, does have an impact on us in terms of energy.... (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_2009_lunar_eclipse). You can read more about energies and eclipses on http://www.mooncatsastrology.com/astro2/eclipses.htm.

This has taught me to do some research into the months planetary movements ahead of schedule! Yesterday links in to the Emperor card in tarot, which is also about energies; - the message to me is of letting go of unnecessary energy and in sitting tight on the energy which I do have.

If any of you want to use tarot, they are in many stores like Borders, available to buy on the net and on Ebay, and you can also find free tarot cards available on line to download, print out in the size that you want, and then you are free to use them for insights yourself. I am amazed though that often our own intuition kicks in, much like tarot.

I have now finished off paying the big bills that I had to find money for. I did get the large Indian figure from Wendy's shop, Enchanted, in the Port; he stands in my bedroom with his peace pipe, looking very proud and wise. Peace in relationships is often important, but to me he is also a sign of strength, also of working with nature, of working with what is around us....

2 more buys this month from our flea market; a large upright brown pony, which reminds me of my colt, Jimmy, that I had as a child; he was an absolute bargain and was the last thing left on the stall as it was almost packing up time. The other thing I bought, again from the flea market, was an owl, made of feathers.

I have been racking my brains at the moment about my purchases. It is a time of balancing, this year. And that includes finances! However, it came to mind that all three have a link somehow. Freedom, wisdom, healing, strength. All 3 are free spirits in a way. Interestingly, there is also meaning for me in the colours. The Indian figure is black, white, red, 3 colours I have been drawn to; the owl is whte/brown, and the pony white and brown. Brown is for grounding, white to me is purity of intent, and new beginnings. The black, white, red mixed up to me is protection, energy. At my last visit to the market, I was drawn to a necklace which was made up of brown and white Jasper. I looked up the qualities of Jasper, and it is a protective stone. However thinking about energy, words, thoughts, and intent, I now need to think about working with this in the different aspects of the life that I live and what this all means for me.

Long ago, someone, somewhere, at some point, decided that cards could be used as a tool. However, think, as you live your life, month by month, what you are drawn to. Think about their significance.... perhaps we do come with a book of guidance after all. Perhaps the book of life is the Cosmos as we breathe in this life, and live, moment, by moment.

Have you found tarot in your life this month? Please leave your thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
Love and light

Candlemass, Death, Sunset and Snowdrops

"When moon is in the 7th house

And Jupiter aligns with Mars

Then peace will guide the planets

And love will steer the stars"

This is part of the lyrics from the song "Age of Aquarius"....because we are coming up to the 14th of Feb, which many think of as the day when the New Age of Aquarius finqally arrives. Yesterday was the 2nd of Feb, a day when we wonder about Springtime -

The main message: Love and peace. And the promise of the New Dawn; - which arrives as we get our Valentine Cards!

I've been inspired for the picture and theme for this post today by a visit to my Knit and Natter group, who reminded me that yesterday was Candlemass, which marks 40 days after the birth of Jesus; it was also Groundhog day. We celebrated this by having Snowdrops on a table in the middle of our group, as we happily sat, knitting and chatting!

As Candlemass is in February, I thought I would link it all up with thinking about the tarot message for this month, which is linked to, in this year, number 13, Death, or if you are a Medicine Woman fan to the Sunset card; it is about endings, hope, resurection, the promise of rebirth. The new dawn; the promise of what is to come.

We have had a winter of troubles, haven't we. It seems that just about Economically, or personally, everyone has had a tough time over the last two or three months, with the sun setting, and the day clouded over so it is hard to see our way through; with the Snowdrops though, the New Moon, the Dawn of the New Age, and our tarot for Feb, we do have the promise of a new dawn, a new tomorrow, that Winter is nearing its' closure and that the new warmth, inspiration and energies of Sprintime is on it's way to us....

"My life is filled with promise and all my needs are met."

Yes, your life is filled with promise, and Cosmically, all your needs are met.

The Snowdrop though tells us that growth can come, that Spring's energy is just around the corner. I wish you their light, abundance and creativity, peace and love.

I wish you Happy Days. They are on their way. Your "life is filled with promise, and all your needs are met". You are much loved. A new dawn is coming.

love and light
