Yellow roses, blue eyes and a little magic
Beauty still flowers in my back garden, in the shape of wonderous and huge yellow blossoms of roses. Jack has been peaceful today, and has curled himself up on his bed and slept soundly.
The sun has been shining; the world has been slumbering in the last few weeks of warm weather, but the trees, knowing autumn is on it's way are shedding leaves of red, gold, brown and yellow.
This post was meant to be on inspiration, or rather as I l ike to think of it as in=spirit-ation. There is a lovely quote I like which says "what you can hold in your head, you can hold in your hand".
When we pass on to spirit we aren't limited by time, space. We can be with our loved ones in an instant, no matter where they are. Our Father God and Mother Earth are so good at recycling things, I dobut very much whether our spirit just lives one life on the earth plane. The dream I had of Jackory telling me he needs to leave me now, as he wants to be a search and rescue dog was so vivid. I am positive that will be his next journey, his next adventure. And perhaps that is why we both met; he became my partner at dog club in obedience, sniffing out hankerchieves and retrieving items and was one of our stars at demonstrating things to newcomers. Despite his past (Jackory was a stray), he loves everyone and would harm no human being.
He is often frequently the source of my inspiration. True devoted love, unconditional. The very embodiment of God reversed i.e. Dog. Man's friend. He nurtures, he protects, he teaches, he leads. When I was ill he more than once took the lead as if he was pulling the stray, and squared his shoulders as if to carry me back home. Lately he is spending a lot of time just looking at me and studying me, as if he is remembering and storing it all away for future times.
I will miss Paul Newman. I will miss his vitality; even in his more senior years he still held that veil of vigour about his eyes that belied his physical age. My yellow roses are at their fullest and their petals are already beginning to fall; some have even already gone to seed in time for next spring.
In-sprit-ation. Mr Newman will live on in his legacy of films he leaves behind; our rose bush will flower again next year. And Jack God bless him will always be with me in some shape or form as I will be with him.
In-sprit-ation. Experiencing the now, do we get chance to revisit our past, and to learn, to make ammends? Can we change things and perhaps in our responding to the falling tower, or in this year, to the returning karma of the Wheel of Fortune, can we, depending on our "inspiration" affect on how much the more challenging aspects of life affect us?
I think so. I came across a company today whose code of ethics for readers does not allow what they term as "magic" , "relationship healing" and also "healing" practices. It saddens me. Is there not magic in the roses, on our cinema screens; is there not magic when the wolf throws its head into the darkening skies and calls to the Cosmos in celebration of it's freedom and self identity? Is it not magic when you are feeling down and your dog wags it's tail and nuzles your arm as if to say "it's all right. Lets go for a walk, it will turn out nice after all, you'll see".
I am a reader. I am not a fortune teller. The wheel has been particularly rough with me this year; and most of it is down to Karma revisited. Are not our cards insights into the Divine Light and Love, are they not linked to the Tree of Life, can we not at least be able to see the magic of their guidance and choose whether or not to follow it when opportunity comes? = does our outcome card reflect the outcome written in stone, no matter what, and what if it is an unfavourable one? - What then? Are we stuck with fate as it is, or can we use our cards to grow, to learn, in order so that when the tower does fall, we have knowledge to know how we build a stronger and more better future... What after all, does the fool carry within the bag that is tied to his staff? - I reckon it's the other cards myself, that tells him the options are there for his journey. Does the magician not have all his tools out on the table, and look to earth and to sky? And what about the Priestess, does she not cradle the Tora to her with a look that says she knows that which is hidden within the pages is written within her soul?
I would like to be captain of my fate, but don't want to be Master of my soul, for that is for Divinity, for the Highest Power, for Divine in-spirit=ation. Every day, as Paul Newman would tell us, is Magical. Every day, something wonderous and new can happen to you. Every day, a flower somewhere unfurls it's petals and glows with colour. Everyday, some relationship, somewhere, is healed through give and take, through unconditional love, that wins through somehow.
The tarot is as much about guidance as it is about prediction. With positive guidance comes healing. The same organisation has readers who use crystals for their readings. I am lost for words. it is sad that spritiuality, or mind, body spirit, should have to be limited in this way. And as for banning spells; are there not tarot spells? - Do we not make our wishes, affirmative wishes, are they not spells in some form? How long have Wiccan's been practising positive thinking and sending out healing energies???? How long have Shaman's been sending distant healing and making journeys to heal so that we can progress?
Our world is magical. Mother Earth creates; our God Creates. Creativity is all around us. Every day we create. New souls are created every day; current souls are constantly being re-created because we constantly learn and experience. As we create, we heal. If we did not, earth as we know it, would not exist. In one way it doesn't , for nothing is concrete. Even concrete dissolves and is recreated.
To quote Paul Newman, "You can’t be as old as I am without waking up with a surprised look on your face every morning: ‘Holy Christ, what da ya know - I’m still around!’ "
Love and light.

Guides in the Garden
I took Jack in the garden today and was amazed to see a Grasshopper; he was sat there in the sunshine on the concrete slab bit we have, and I tried so hard to get a photograph. A little while later, he was still there, this time though he moved forward a bit and jumped high up into the grass.I was amazed at him staying around with both me being there, and Jackory. I looked up Grasshopper animal spirit when I came in and this is what I found:
Jumps across space and time
Leaps of faith
Jumping without knowing where you will land
Astral travel
Leaping over obstacles
New leaps forward, not back
There is a quick movement about this, it basically means to have faith and leap when you have the opportunity. I am glad it is positive medicine guide for us.
About animal guides:
Animals / insects / birds can be our guides, messengers, bring healing. If there is a paticular animal that shows up for you, in pictures, on the tv., in real life, it is worth while looking up their animal spirit guidance on the internet; Borders books always have a good stock of animal guide books in too. I found to my cost this year that sometimes you have to be aware of their impact in all areas of your life; I struggled with Orangutan earlier on in the year, and even phoned Steven Farmer at Hay House for a reading. I found later that the message, which was to nurture, meant in all areas of my life, to nurture others, relationships, home ect ect.
Jackory update: He and Logan are poorly today and yesterday, I think it is the food I gave them last night so have my hands full at the moment trying to nurse sore tummies!

Money making with manifestation
It is said that money is the easiest thing to manifest. If you think about it, money does grow on trees, as trees make paper, which in turn makes paper money.
Most of you will be familiar with the Cosmic Laws of Abundance and there are several good books and internet sites with some tips on Cosmic Ordering. There is also Flowdreaming - look it up under Hay House Radio; - but another way of doing it is with cards.
First of all, think about your intent. Is it good, will it benefit you? Let Love run through your intent, and you will be fine. Always ask for it for the Highest Good of all concerned, and ask that it be from good sources.
Then set aside some quiet time.
You can light a candle, yellow or green are good choices. Or perhaps light an incense stick, Basil is good for prosperity, cedar wood has links with success and prosperity too.
Times: Historically, Sundays have been associated with abundance. Sunday is connected with Archangel Michael. If you have an Angel deck, perhaps you may like to select a card connected with Michael that calls to you to meet the need you are asking money for.
If using tarot, select a card that to you signifies financial stability. For me, I would probably pick 10 coins, or 10 pentacles from tarot. That is because I like the stability of the castle, and the happiness shown in the picture. Others may prefer to use the Ace of Pentacles. Use what you feel most suits what you are asking for and why.
If you have an animal spirit deck, select a card that you are drawn to. Perhaps you might draw a buffalo to connect you to abundance; or maybe an elephant to help you to remove any obsticles in your way.
Meditate on the card that you have chosen. Be prayerful with it; ask for your request for the Highest good of all, through the blessing of Divine Love and Light. Above all know that your request is heaven sent and is right then and there, circulating within the Cosmos. Put out your request with love.
An affirmation is a positive way of ending your request. You may like to use something like " I , ..... draw to me through Divine Love and Light, the right amount of money from good sources, to meet my needs ......... And so it is. (So be it)... thank you."
Your main objective may be for inspiration to help you to bring in more money; again think about the reason you want money for. Is it for a wedding maybe, or money to help with business or study? Aces are good with achievements and drawing to you what you need. Look at the Ace cards and see what speaks to you; the Ace of cups for example may be good for drawing to you money to help you with a wedding; the Ace of Coins for business or to help pay a bill, The Ace of Swords may help cutting through obsticles standing in your way; the Ace of Wands for energy and movement.
Continuity: You may like to reproduce the card you have chosen. I always think that recreating the card yourself is good. You inscribe it with your own creative energies. Perhaps you would like to make a small version of it yourself, and put it in your bag/ purse, inside your bank book, or on a notice board in your office? Work with the card over a period of days.
Positive thinking: pay the bill you need to pay with grateful thanks and wish the person receiving it joy and happiness. Hold your bank book and "love" it. Be aware that you are not loving the money inside the book, you are loving the balance within the book because it helps you to pay the bills, buy food for your family, buy a holiday you need. Love the reason why you have that book. Create a short mantra you can say for when ever you feel disheartened eg "My needs will be met"; "money is flowing continuously to me from good sources". Be open to have money; that is important too. We can do a lot of flow dreaming positive thinking ect but when money does come we get embarrased to take it.

I love you
Okay what do you think of this comment "I love you?"
I love you. Three small words but they mean a lot really. We like to think that God, the Divine, loves us all, as does Mother Earth. Think of Mother Theresa, even maybe Diana Princess of Wales. The thing with Diana is that she exhuberated love of, and for, the every day person. I think of her as an Angel who walked among us. I know some of you may think different, but she did spread love unconditionally. She gave it, she got involved, she got her hands muddy and still amazingly LOOKED ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS.
I've been reading a book "Zero Limits" by Joe Vitale and Ihaleakala Hew Len. It talks of love, repeatedly, repeats the phrase "I love you" all the way through.
HEALING JACKORY I've been using " I love you" as healing for Jackory. I say it to him all the time. I've always at bedtime thanked him for being a good dog, and told him I love you. Sometimes I think we can make healing too complex. I sit there with my crystal wands and healing music and do hands on, hand off healing, and I'm doing it because I love Jack. I don't want to loose him to C....r. I don't mind giving him to the Divine but dont want it to be through the c....r.
C....r
Strangely enough this word is cropping up for me a lot this month. I phone friends / relatives and their news is so and so has C.....r.
When we say "I love you" it is words, to express emotion. If we can't speak, we can sign it, or even just think it, more importantly, we can feel it. But what exactly is love? = What exactly is c....r?
This post wasn't meant to be on c....r. It was meant to be about expectations. And even work.
So I am surprised as the topic has changed on it's own without me planning it. The thing is , don't plan. Sometimes go with the flow. And sometimes the flow just wants to flow. Words restrict it. Like for example, our thoughts on c....r. I remember posting up words describing c....r as a huge monster; a patient on tv described it as days when a kitty scratches trying to get out, and the kitty on days she wasnt that good, became a tiger.
Our thoughts come from experiences. From programming. From this life and other lives. And no not from others. If you think about it, we share one life spirit really. We are all individual bodies but our link is one creative body, each one of us experiencing different things. We all experience c....r in different ways and the vast majority of us don't like what we hear.
I love you. We know the meaning of this from our very first moment of "being" . We come from Divine Love. We then experience. C....r can be, or not, an experience. C....r is just a word that we've got in our programme. As the book says, programmes, like on the computer, can be cleaned. Jack, all the time, is being healed. The Divine heals him. Friends, like you, send their healing to him. In doing so they send their love.
I love you heals.
I love you.

Tarot for September 2008
Interestingly 1 and 9 is 10; the wheel of fortune is slowly turning the last few cycles before we reach October, when the energies for 2009 will slowly come to the fore.
19 is linked to The Sun in the Major Acana; the Sun card, like that of Strength, is astrologically is linked to Leo, so this can be an important time for those of you born under this sign. The Sun heralds generally brighter aspects for business, relationships, the birth of a child. New positive beginnings, a happier time. Reversed though it can also indicate burn out, and the opposite of the above. In my understanding of this card, it is also linked to the numbers 2, and 20; so the 2nd September and the 20th are important dates this month.
The card in many decks features the Sun, a wall, a child on a horse and a wall. In some decks, twins are chosen. The Wall can be seen as the representation of the building blocks of life, symbolically I think as well that this can mean we can choose to acknowledge, or to block ourselves off from the gifts that the Universe can bring us. Enjoy is the main message of this card. Value the optimistic opportunities that may be coming your way. So we have twins, sometimes a white horse, the wall, and the child, and sometimes too Sun flowers. Life exists in all things; even bricks come from thought and energy. In other words, consciousness exists in all things. The child, carried high, has the ability to analyse and to reason; but this is a child, not a grown person. We have possibilities, and the sun's energy shines over everything so is not directed at any one thing.
The horse can mean freedom, and the white suggests new ideas which carry the child forward. A day in the sun, fresh intellect; a child's view of life is simple and honest and they live often in the moment. Everything looks bright and clear.
Hopefully this cards energies mean that each of us will have our day in the sun this month. Maybe we can all appreciate things turning out all right. We are supported by the existance of all around us in this moment, and all connected under the energy of the sun. We are all connected to a higher, creative, vibrant energy; individual souls linked with one spirit.

Decision Making : Drumming
angel work;
looking at the cards;
using a pendulum;
meditation (with yourself, your own shadow, connecting with your higher selves;
flowdreaming a positive answer (Cosmic ordering);
praying;
maybe asking your guides in meditation and "listening" for an answer;
having a reading.
But have you used drumming?
Drumming has historically been linked to calling upon the spirit world, the spiritual Beings, for help; it is also a healing activity.
When Jack's symptoms went up a notch, it was call time for me. I did do some talking with Jackory, asking him what he wanted to do. I thought his reply was to stay a while, so I thanked him for that and settled down for the night. It was peaceful; I took out the drum I have and drummed softly over the next two hours or so.
When you drum, you empty things. It becomes a healing process. You talk to the drum, it talks back. It links you, I think, with the Divine. I do not have a gift for music; it doesn't matter. Settling down with the drum, there is a few moments of stillness, and once you pick up the beater, thats it. Allow yourself to drum how you want to. Quickly, slowly, softly, loudly. You will find you change the pace, change the rythm, change the sound , without thinking of it. You and the drum become one. And somehow it heals. It transforms. It speaks.
I became peaceful as I drummed. I knew I didn't have to be in charge. I knew Jackory would tell me, so when he gives up, thats when I give up. I knew we were at peace, that Divine Light and Love encompassed all. That it wasn't my call, not at least within that moment, at that time.
I am happy with my decision. I am at peace, and so is Jackory. We are enjoying our time together, and have had many special times since that drumming night.
