The Hierophant and Obama
The world is in need of a great emplar, leader, teacher, its' troubles are many, and lately so many young lives have been lost, and we have seen great economic giants fall, and many others are in need of tlc and a bit of nursing, as they limp through the economic difficulties. As my frieds blog says though, "change is in the air". 5 is the number of change.
So our new President takes office on a day of change, ruled by the Hierophant, in a month when change is most badly needed in the World (21 in tarot, and tomorrow is the 20th day of the 1st month),
Obama's first name just adds zest to this memorable day, as it means "blessed". How incredible is that, a President taking office on a day ruled by the Hierophant...
I can hardly type. A new day, a new morn is dawning, by blessed Obama, as he leads us into 2012. The Outgoing President leaves us under the waning moon, hopefully all that was unhelpful energies, as in the economy, Iraq, Afghan, and Gaza, will wane too, as a new leader blessed by the Hierophant, takes the reigns of world Hope and leads us into the promise of 2012, towards Peace, Harmony, and a brighter, better world...
May love and light shine bright tomorrow as this man heads towards the White House...

let go 8 swords energies with the moon
In the "Snow Cake", a book is found, with art work and writing. One of the pages says something like "We have only the present, the past is memories and the future fantasy". The past is often our memories which in turn, is our experience, or feelings, sometimes helpful or happy, sometimes not. The past is as long/short as you want it to be; last year, last month, last week, yesterday, a moment ago. Our present is this second, this moment in time.
How can we let go of unhelpful past? whether it is a memory, experience, event....A number of ways. You can try
1. writing down unhelpful energies like tiredness, sadness, anger, despair, on a piece of paper. You can write down a sentence like "I let go of ....." Some people may like to burn this safely until nothing is left, and then releasing it to the winds away from your home and garden.
Mediating on the 8 cups may help if you have circumstances around you, obstacles, problems that stop you from moving forward. Use the imagry on the 8 swords (I use the Waite deck for tarot). Look at each sword. What does each one stand for? It could be, for example, lack of money, an event, a circumstance, a row, a misunderstanding , and what unhelpful feelings /emotions are around you?
2. You may like to try this little meditation, you can use what you found out from looking at the 8 cups, and cross them off your list as you go...
a quiet room, breathing in and out 5 times (5 is for change). Ask your angel to be with you and to help you. See yourself with a bag of different coloured balloons. Think of one unhelpful energy, memory, experience, or feeling, and then blow up the balloon, imagining that you are filling up that balloon with this energy. Note the colour you have chosen. Was it red, black, yellow perhaps? Once you have blown up your balloon, tie it with a ribbon. Note the colour of the ribbon you chose. Was it the same colour, or different? Then, holding your balloon in your hands, you can let go of that eenergy by passing the balloon to your Angel, telling him / her that you release this trouble/feeling/experience to them. Hold out your balloon to your Angel, who takes the balloon and holds it for you. Turn again to your bag of balloons, is there another unhelpful feeling, energy, memory, ect you want to release? Do the same, bowing this into the next balloon, noting the colours and passing them to your Angel. When you have done, offer thanks for the opportunity to let go, and to your Angel for helping you. Your Angel now carries your balloons away, know that he/she carries these for you now and you can imagine your Angel letting go of the balloons so they float higher and higher, far away, and out of sight. Offer thanks, if you have your crossed off list, burn it somewhere safe, let the winds blow it away. Afterwards, spend a little time writing in a diary, journal, blog, those things that you are grateful for.
With love, light and wishing you peace

Staying afloat with the 8 cups
The moon changes her appearance every 3 days or so; we are now moving out of the full moon phase, which means the moon will reduce in size. So it means a little time reflecting, not much action, a bit of conservtion work.
Reflectng on my 8 swords time:- the girl n the 8 cups has her castle behind her and is open to the air, water, and earth around her. The swords are related to air energy, so this mens that this is a mind set thing. Her hands are tied loosly, with a bandage type fabric that binds her body too, although her feet are free, and she does have shoes on. Her eyes are blindfolded; her head down, as if she is thinking, or trying to tune into what she can hear and sense. She s dressed in a simple, feminine rich orange full length dress, and she has a necklace on.
When I look at this image, it speaks to me of knowing who you are, making the most of what you have; the other interesting thing about it is that most of the swords are behind her, or to one side, with one to the left of her, slightly in front.
I am an intuitive reader, so for me this may mean that I don't want to see I have to go forward and things cant be as they were. It is also about positive thinking; conserving the energy of the orange within, and sensing. I've done the hearing bit, I need to sense a wee bit more to feel my way, as well as think my way, through. So there is a balance there that is needed. So you see, reflecting on the card helps to think of the guidance that card gives, as well as the situation.
Colour work: you will find my website changed colour wise. I have put in black, white, and red. Black is a bit of protection, a wee bit of conservation; red is for energy, life blood. The white - normally white has different associations; colours have to be a personal thing, for me I used the white to balance the deep black. Overall, they combine to add strength.
I looked for a card that to me pictured "serenity" to place that energy where I work. For me it was the Queen Of Pentacles. I hope to make a picture up of the Queen and place her in my work space, which is in quite a masculine area really, so hopefully once she is up, she will help to balance out the yin and the yang of Serenity Corner! It is important to me not to feel boxed in, so I face the room and the door way, not a wall! For those of you feeling restricted at work, you may not feel comfortable having taro cards, but it may be nice to put up a picture of you in a setting that you felt free and easy in, like an"on holiday" picture, or you could try an animal spirit that calls out freedom, a free spirt- like an eagle, or a horse. You could also try placing the word a screen saver, or writing it on a post it note and putting it up. Words carry energy, and vibrations, like pictures do; you can also just think of the word or make it up into a little mantra, like "Serenity is around me at work today". Serenity negates fear and uncertainty.
Please note that these are my ways of working through the situation at a level I feel comfortable with, taking into account the energies of the moment. In the UK, readings and working spiritually, or psychically, cannot and should not replace professional advice or opinion. Wishing you serenity, love and light

Struggling
Okay. Your freephone psychic reader at Doggeanie.biz is struggling. I hate to admit it, but I am. In several ways. Energy wise and cognitively, also spiritually. In all areas really. Circumstances have brought me to an 8 swords situation.... where my hands are tied, I'm blindfolded by others, and swords become obsticles in my way, preventing me from going forward.
And yes, I do have several hurdles, challenges, problems on the go at the moment.
One is Jackory,my dog, whose time with me I know is limited. I've known that for a few days now and feel he only has a few weeks. The problem is in the right energy looking after him, also in letting him go. Doing my best for him, so that he can journey on in his next big adventure whole, spiritually, knowing I am okay.
Then there is working. Or should I say trying to work. I have had to move where I work upstairs. I called it my corner, but it is not sending out much positive energy to the Cosmos don't you think.
Financially things are difficult too. I've also got my eye on a lovely red indian figure, plus a bottle of Kate Price's first perfum, that is a bit over sickly sweet when you spray it on, but after, is really comforting, uplifting and so feminine, and stays for ages afterwards. However, I've 3 big bills to pay, plus my car needs servicing, and 2 birthday celebrations in February. Plus my son in law is off to Afghan soon, so you can see I have to dig deep here. You can say, in the last few weeks, I've been not waving, but drowning.
Okay, so thats the problem. Or problems. The good news? Solving it. How? Well okay you can follow my progress.
I will be as honest as I can be. As you know nothing is guaranteed. But hey, we have our cards (and I have a fair few decks now to use!) plus, all our friends including our Divine Father, Mother Earth; the Cosmos, and the Moon.
Life tips for when you are not waving, but drowning:-
1. Take time out. I did. I tried really tried to work upstairs, but nothing seemed to "manifest". Nothing seemed to work. Not even trying to type something. So I relinquished the trying. It is 2009, the year of Tarot's Judgement. A time for digging into your faith, having patience, perhaps accepting others judgement, or considering your options before making a decision. And if "letting go" is part of that decision, being able to do that. I have had to "let go" of my old ways of working. I need to surrender at this moment and draw into my faith & patience, also perhaps looking to others (people, or other paths of enlightenment and understanding) to help me in that goal.
2. "inspiritation" (inspiration, but with a little action!)
With me inspiration was tv over the last 2 days. Worn out I sort of vegetated on the sofa with the tv on, the clue here is that inspiration (help) comes in many forms. Note it came once I'd "relinquished" by taking "time out" of the struggle.
- I watched: "Snow Cake" ( a film about an adult with autism). The message for me was like the Hanged man in Tarot, which is to look at things from another perspective. In the film, the lady with autism, turned to things which made her happy. She knew what made her smile, and in turn passed that smile on to others.
- I watched "Country File" today. It was about farming, using the moon to plan and work crops, with a farmer even ploughing by moon light so that the moon's energy drew all the goodness down into the soil... He worked by the moon cycles. The message for me was that the moon is feminine; linked to the Goddess. Being female, and with M.E., my energy levels go a bit up, stay about the same, or reduce or plunge. A bit of moon cycle work may help.
- Friday's TV programme on living with no money; "Let" or "Timebank", is where you swop your talents / expertise / energy for other things but not money. It is simply an exchange of energy, or energy for an item, like food or something else. There is a young Canadian manwho set up his "red paper clip" web page to swop his desk paper clip for something bigger; 14 swops later he has ended up with a home to live in. A favourite quote of his from his web page is this, that you "have to think big". So if anyone wants to swop a mansion for a reading (okay lets get real, swop a reading for Katie Prices perfume, or the lovely Indian figure in Wendy's Enchanted shop in Ellesmere Port, then please let me know!)
More later. I've lit a candle today. Blessed my corner, which I now hereby name "Serenity". Also it is the time of the full moon, a time of letting go of things negative...
So to recap, in this 9 cards situation, I can still hear and sense. My weekend TV has been my hearing, which has helped me to untie my hands and loosen my blindfold. Now I just have to negotiate the swords. What tools do I use? January is the month of the Magician in tarot. My table will be my serenity corner; my tools? I choose:
1. my cards. 2. Archangel Metatron. 3. Divine Light and Love 4. Spirit guides 5. Meditations 6. Working with moon energy 7. Thinking outside the box (remember the magician in tarot?) 8. Colour work to help with drawing in happiness, upliftment and refreshment 9. The odd activity to allow me time to experience "being happy" as in "Snow Cake".
Wishing you love, light, energy, happiness, peace and Divine GraceGina and Jackoryx

New look Website

Yeste
rday hours went by and I still was not able to put the picture into the size I wanted. I went to bed, and asked for some help, and this morning I was able to save the picture into the size I wanted! Sometimes, when you ask, you are given the inspiration or the answer to your question. People sometimes do this with automatic writing, when you take a pen and a piece of paper, and ask the Cosmos, or Spirit, a question. You then pause, empty your mind if you can of your own thoughts, breathe, and wait. Then when your hand starts to move, you allow the pen to write. It can take practice, but you may be surprised... It is also what we do with the cards, too. It is a matter of asking while you hold the cards, and then dealing them out or stacking them and splitting the decks to select your card.Love and light. Enjoy the magic of the cosmos!

Happy New Year in Tarot - scopes!
January birthday:
A time of reflection. Try looking at things from the perspective of those around you. Reconsider for the good of the whole. Use brown or Tigers Eye which can help to give a sense of grounding and common sense. Use helpful imagry such as reflecting on a quality, or a gift, that would help those around you, socially, within the family, and at work. Imagine holding the gift, or quality, or simly think of the word- you can even write it on paper and hold it for your hands. Once you have reflected on this, and who it is for, imagine enhancing that gift with your love, with positive energies from you, and then, through Divine Light and Love, send it to the person you are thinking of.
February
You are coming to the end of one cycle and at the beginning of a new one. Like at school when we are at the final page of a copy book, we can look forward to the one that is to come, and the clean freshness that can hold promising things for us. The thing is to accept the changes, or cling on to the past. A brave newness dawns ...and with change can come rebirth, transformation, freedom. Colour = yellow for positivity and rebirth.
March:
This is a time for equilibrium; if you think of it in terms of finance or boo keeping, it is a time to balance the books in all areas of your life. Ask for blessings in terms of making the most out of everything; however bear the good of the whole in mind, working towards benefiting the whole person, not just a part of the whole. Try to blend, or come to some sort of negation, with your ideas, experiences, intuition, wishes, dreams, and material resources. For some people there may be a move of professon to a caring or nursing environment, or perhaps in science, medication, alternative therapies. Colour - red, for vitality, energy, for drive and for a little bit of courage to help you to mix the resources you have to get the best outcome, and to help you to take action. This is a little bit like making a menu for a heartwarming and satisfying meal, with what you have in the larder and the energies you have to cook with. It takes patience, adjustment, blending, mixing. You know what you want at the end of the day, you just need to help it along with a little work .
April:
This may be a tme when you have to sort out truth from fiction; find out your rights, listen to your responsiilities, and think about making changes for the better. Your intuition is one thing, but the reality of the practical day to day existence needs attention. What is stopping you from moving forward? This can be a limiting career, perhaps finances, perhaps a relationship that is not as it should be. This then is about control; who does the controlling, and how to work free from the situation, even if it is just to escape from the rut that you feel you may be in. You can choose to stay in the rut, or choose to work your way out of it. Colours: choosefrom a rich vibrant indigo violet, or perhaps black. Both offer some protection and some security. If you choose the black, mix it with some indigo or white, as you dont want to disappear down a black dark tunnel, but find your way out to sunshine, harmony and freedom. You may not have the energies to do this, or even the financial where withall, so consider flow dreaming cosmic ordering, writing a journal with positivity, gratitude for all the positive things in your life. Little by little, take back the reins of your life.
May:
You know there is a saying that "everything hurt can be restored again". Restored does not necessarily mean as it was before; it can mean improvements, or simply putting things together again so that it can function, and work, for the time being until something is found that can replace or enhance it. In other words, there may be some times when you may need to pick yourself up, dust yourself down, and maybe rest for a bit, or start all over again. Now sometimes things happen beyond our capabilities. Beyond our reasoning, beyond our control. Sometimes though things happen to us, and what comes to mind is "beware what you wish for". So if things are not going well, take a step back for now. Think about rebuilding a structure around you, or a platform that you can stand unaided on. Rethink what you need. So if this is a relationship falling about you like a pack of cards, think how to rebuild a good strong relationship. Concentrate on what you want / deserve, rather than that which is falling around you, even if it is in a day dream, or in your journal. Sometimes things happen for a reason.... Colours: silver, gold, for intuition- light attracts light.
June:
A time to sparkle, to enjoy being recognied for all the hard work and enthuiasm you have been putting into things, a time not just to realise your dreams, but to enjoy them too. To nurture all that is good aroun you. Newness of health, vitality, wholesomeness... Offer thanks for everything good, positive and helpful that is around you now, and give bck, something if you can, even if it s a selection of old but loved books tht you no longer have space for, to pass on to the charity shop, or take some of your flowers from your garden to a neighbour, or maybe give some of your time to a group needing some of your talents and help. Recycle all that is good - it is nice, and good, to share all the lovely flowing energies around you right now! Colour - blue, for order, calmness tranquility, peace.
July.
Your intuition, dreams, spirituality- make use of them. Develop them, turn to them for resurgance of spirit, strength, body and mind. Lavender is a lovely colour to draw to you spiritual peace and upliftment. Do not be afraid to ask for spiritual guidance or support at this time... Do not forget that you do not just have your own energies or spirituality to guide you but the experiences and help from the older generation too. If you have a yearning to do astrology, cards, or some other form of spiritual learning consider actually taking this opportunity of the new spiritual pathway that can open up this year for you.
August:
This should be a time of feeling better, with renewed vigour, energies, outlook. It is a year when Spring time energies should be opening up doors and providing you with new exeperiences - perhaps even the long awaited pregnancy or birth; there should be good news in most areas of your life in some shape or form. Bring to the fore a way of thinking that is new, and uncomplicated; children can often get to the heart of things quickly. Make your peace with anyone that you have been falling out with; enjoy the sunshine of life, but strike balance between work, rest and play. Colours: leaf green for growth and fertility of things helpful and good.
September:
A better year, when you will see at last some good that has come out of the toughness of past struggles. A time also though for using your judgement for the better good, of putting into action lessons leart. Overall a better time; one that you can also use as a bit of a harvest for the future; so f you do have a bit extra in terms of savings or income, use your judgement, put it to good use and try and keep a reserve for future times. This could also be a year when you move home, move job, go to pastures new. You have learnt new wisdom now and aquired new knowledge that you never had before, which will help and benefit you. A more mature you really rises from previous experiences. It may not all be rosy, but you should be able to use your own disernment and judgement to navigate through this year. Colours - white, with a hint of rose pink, as you need to wrap yourself up in love - remember, you are a child of the universe, and you are much loved. Offer thanks for the resurgence that you feel - just the action of putting some white or pink roses in a bowl and as you place each one, offer thanks for each new quality. opportunity, or energy that you feel is in your life right now.
October
The aim should be balance, harmony, melody, keeping things going, and enjoyment the moment. You may find yourself the centre of attraction, so this may be a time of a renewed love, either within a current relationship, or perhaps a new love to come. It may be a time of getting maried, or even attending a wedding, and finding your world just zings into place, like you have found the missing piece of the jigsaw. At home bring in this balance and harmony; make your home work for you, not the other way around. Sameat work, keep things ticking over. This is a time also for rewards and to apply for that grant you have been hoping to get; a time to link up with friends and to enjoy what life has to offer you, within the balance and harmony that should be there for you thi year. Know that there is guidance for you from above; if you have lost someone, know that they are not lost, but can be with you in this moment in a spiritual way. Like an eagle, you can become the centre of your landscape and yet have the ability to see it from on high, so you can see the whole picture as well as be part of it. Know that you have strength, be proud of your achievements.... enjoy yourself creatively, and feel able to exress yourelf in a creative way too. Aim for keeping balance and harmony, keeping your self expression - colours, pale blue for serenity, the flow and movement of the ocean, and the freedom of the skies.
November.
It is a good idea to have balance in everything, but you may find or need to find, more opportunities for concentrating on relationships and family life. This may mean you cannot afford to shy away from taking the father/mother stand with children, overall this is a time perhasps when responsibility calls. Work wise, this can mean a promotion, taking charge of things you may have delegated to others, being the peace maker or putting things in order. Mix a little kindness in by listening to others, but at the end of the day you need to do what is morally best. You may find this role a little lonely, but it just needs to be done, after all every ship on the ocean needs a catain to know what direction to go in, else there is the danger of the rocks and unknown waters. Colours - rich autumn browns, golds - think shades of a lion's mane and you wont go far wrong!
December.
Devote more time to what you love to do, and try to share it with others.
Work more on building better communication, or building bridges, with those people who are important to you.
This is Adam and Eve time, a time to work on relationships or be open to love and romance. Being open to love and romance does not mean concentrating on the fact that you are not in a relationship; it means taking opportunities or building the energies that speak out to others that yes, you are a wonderful, attractive, lovable human being that they just cannot wait to get to know! Think Mills and Boon, think Happy Endings, think unepected meetings with someone who can bring in some passion and romance. For those currently in a relationship, a new freshness in love, passion, romance and communication or time spent as a couple is important. Colours - burgundy, think rich velvety colours of red wine!-
