Saturday was the semi final, and also the final, of "Last Choir Standing".
The Welsh choir, Ysgol Glanaethwy, didn't win, but their song in the semi final was amazing. Also appropriate: "O Fortuna" *Wheel of Fortune*

Jackory update
Jack had a lovely half day out on Saturday, we went to Welshpool and he so enjoyed it, came home and played with one of his toys. Jack always favours yellow toys, anything yellow in colour he loves and will pick it out, even if it amongst other colours. He is a difficult bunny though medication wise and getting very canny to me hiding medicine in food, and so far has refused EVERYTHING today even hand feeding. Pics to follow! Also a big thank you to those of you praying, healing and thinking about Jackory, thank you so muchx

The magic in the woods

It hasn't been a good few days as Jackory's symptoms have stepped up a notch. I will not go into the new symptoms he has, as it is upsetting. But, having said that my boy, nicknamed "laughing boy" by one of my friends, is "laughing" his way through. He is still wagging his tail, still eating, drinking ect okay, still happy and still coming on shortish walks.
We went to the woods near where we live. It is called Rivacre. It was lovely. There was purple and white heather, yellow flowers, and some lovely gorgeous purply ones that looked like tiny lillies. We saw a field mouse running through the grass, and a dragon fly. It is nice to stop and feel nature all around you, if you don't you miss the little treats, like the mouse and the dragon fly!
Jackory loves it. Logan ambled through while Jackory played with his sticks and pieces of wood, and paddled in the streams. Jackory loves life. He always has done. He has always wanted to be active and taking part in things. He reminds me of the "Dancer" card in Medicine Woman, or the Magician in tarot. He uses what is there in life.
In my other home he would take his ball and sit at the top of the stairs. He would drop his ball, so it would roll down the stairs onto the downstairs floor, and then run to get it, before taking it up the stairs, chewing on it a little and then dropping it again.
A Jackory tip for the day: Use what is around you. There are so many things that are for free. They bring pleasure and joy; be creative with what there is. Dance to life's tune and you will be okay.

I had a phone call the other day from a young friend interested but also worried about what she had been hearing about 2012.
This young friend was worried because she had heard it could be the end of the world. If you are wondering why, it is because that astrologically, during the winter solstice in 2012, the sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way for the first time in about 26,000 years; we even have a planned time when that occurs, which is on the 21st of the 12th month, 2012, at 11:11. (this is the time of the Winter Solstice; some think that the exact alignment will be at 7:14.)

The curtains of the heart.
My family have returned to their home, a long way away, I miss them = the days with them have flown rapidly by. Jackory seemed to enjoy the visit, but he doesn't seem as well as he has been. I found the words below written by Gary, in a blog now closed. They are about the "curtains of the heart":
Open the curtains,
to let in the light.
Unwrap the layers,
your heart is in sight.
Listen to God,
at the start of the day.
Hear what he says,
he will show you the way.
God loves us all,
this we do know.
Our love for god,
we must truly show.
Keep out of the darkness,
remain in the light.

For whatever reason we can close the curtains of our heart and sometimes those of our soul and mind, and in doing so can shut out the abundance of joy or comfort that the Universe wants to bring us. I drew a card for today's blog -
Medicine Woman:5 of Arrows. To me this is all about sharing what we have with others. Taking opportunities. Caring for others. It is about action as well as words. Share your light, and like a smile, light is catching. Sometimes though we want to retreat behind the closed curtains of our heart, this card reminds us that as we share with others, we are rewarded.
Remaining in the light can be difficult. In "Angels on my shoulder" blog, it says "Angels fly because they take themselves lightly". Think for a minute. Focus on the word "LIGHT" and what do you think of ? - Light hearted, light of foot, Light of God. "I am light". Perhaps we can fly over our obsticles if we shed our heavier thoughts; perhaps even float above them. "I am light".
The most striking colour of 5 of Arrows is yellow, linked to Angel Jophiel, who serves on the 2nd Ray, the Ray of illumination and wisdom. Jophiel is also strongly connected with Sundays, and it is Sunday today...
Tarot equivalent, 5 swords : we can see victory/defeat, but it is a cloudy card, quite literally. The number 5 is linked to change, too - this card can yell victory or defeat can be in the mind. You can live to fight, or not fight, another day; dust yourself off, gather inspiration, energy, (illumination) or think (wisdom) what the consequences of victory will be and whether it matters, anyway, in the big scheme of things.
It also comes to mind that when you are feeling "defeated" other people can take advantage and pick up the treasures or tools that you would have found if you hadn't had your head literally in the dark.
Healing message for today: "I am light. God gives me the present, moment by moment."
Present's an interesting word to; - the "now", by the now and of the now, and present, as in gift. Stay in the light, to receive universal gifts from Divine Light and Love.
Note: Years ago, when a household lost someone, the curtains in the house were closed, until after the funeral. When we mourn, we can hold on too tightly, so that the person we have "lost", can't reach us. Why? Sometimes it is because they feel they may upset us even more, or our "curtains" block them in some way. If we open up our curtains we might then see their lovely spirit light, and then our hearts can be lighter and comforted, knowing they are okay

Angels
Today, I came across this amazing blog, called "Angels on your shoulder". I think it is actually a website rather than a blog, but it is in blog style. If you click on the title "Angels" it is a link to the page.
So, today I am inspired me to talk about Angels - I think I could write about them more than just in one blog spot, there is so much to say.
Have you ever met an angel? You know sometimes I think Angels kind of come in different shapes and sizes, just as this blog says, also I think sometimes they borrow us if you know what I mean, like a "walk in", in order to help us.
A few blogs back I mentioned something incredible happened to me at a small supermarket. I was in the aisle, it was shortly after Jackory was diagnosed. I had about £20 or so in my pocket to spend on groceries. I stopped by the biscuit section to linger over the chocolate ones ( I love chocolate, but have been on a diet since January this year!) .
Any way, a voice by me asked me could I see the packets of biscuits that were on special offer. I was lost in my thoughts, a cross between Jackory's news and longing for chocolate, and had my selfish head on. I wanted to simply just not be bothered - the voice asked again and I turned to find a lady in black lace by me. She was dressed so beautifully, really truly beautifully, in her black lace.
Gently she nudged me by speaking, to find her some biscuits. She told me she couldn't read, but yet seemed to know the names of biscuites she wanted. She then gave me a reading; this is personal so I wont go into it. It was a mini reading but bang on and it brought tears to my eyes. She asked me if I was okay, and would I buy something of her. She said she was a true Romany, and dug in her bag to find her charms. There were several I liked; she asked for £9 for 4. You know how people choose numbers is interesting isnt' it. 9 in tarot is linked to The Hermit, the seeker, the one who lights the path. I got embarrassed then, as I only had the £20 or so and it wouldn't cover the cost of the charms. I said I was sorry, I couldn't afford the four, but could I buy one? - She chose a charm for me and said "with love" and dropped it into my hand. She turned, and walked a few steps and then just simply sort of melted into the shop.
I cried then, properly cried - I felt humbled and told myself off for trying to ignore her in the first place. A Romany Gypsy, or an Angel? - I have the charm in my bag, that is solid and for real. It did feel though like an Angel on that day, quite literally, was looking over my shoulder. Since then at home there have been tough times, and I think back to her message and it pulls me through.
Update on Jackory: lovely cold wet nose today. Was fussy eating yesterday, but it doesn't matter, as long as he enjoys what I give him and he takes his medication. A word on that though, I am wondering how long I have to give him the things I am giving him, if I have to reduce the amount , ect ect. With this type of thing I feel very much on my own as there is no guidance, not like the prescriptive medication from the vets. I need to find out more, ask the angels maybe...
May an Angel be over your shoulder today, sending you love light and direction (and laughterx)

Meditations
I came across this meditation video on You Tube the other day; if you would like to play it, just click on "Meditations" (the orange title to this post, above) as it is a direct link to the video. It is a lovely peaceful serene video, please be sure to put your sound on, as there is a lovely gentle male voice that guides you through an amazing meditation. I have to say I did feel better afterward, and really wish that I could somehow save the voice and music to a DVD or CD to play for Jackory. The key word to this meditation is "Diamond"; so if you have a crystal, maybe a clear quartz, that is a diamond shape it may be nice to hold that while you listen to this.
Relationship Tip: this is a meditation for wellbeing, for abundance in terms of money, love, happiness, life - but if you have just come across someone that you would like to get to know better, you can perhaps use this meditation as a means of visualisation of a relationship between you and the person you are longing to get to know better!
Mediations are superb for relaxing and for healing, also for psychic development. There is another meditation I can recommend, it is on Hay House Radio and is linked to an under sea meditation, a journey by dolfins to Atlantis. Sadly Hay House has just developed a fee per month for visiting it's archive section; I wish I had saved it for free when I had the chance!
Update on Jackory: Jack is doing quite nicely at the moment, I am really pleased with him. Although it is very taxing when he won't eat things he will normally, like 10 mins ago I tried him with cooked fresh mackeral, but he wont eat it, not even when I hand feed him. Logan and Zola wolved their portions down. A tip if you have a poorly dog, you need to get in lots of different food and just "let it go over your head" if they dont eat, cos they will probably eat, just later on, and somehting that they take a fancy too, which means it may not be the first thing that you give them, they may fancy something else. So have a bit of a store cupboard in with different things.

Let the beauty you love be what you do.
Yesterday my house was filled with beauty, all the things I love - children, (of all ages!) dogs, cats. It was lovely, and my "Lady" looked on everything positively grinning at everything going on. Today it is much quieter and peaceful, but not as happy!
JACKORY UPDATE
Wet cold nose - YES! today we have a really cold, really wet nose and Jack looks great. The visit to the pet salon really cheered him up, and you know she has got him cleaner than I can get him in my bath. It must be something to do with the spray nozzle maybe, but his coat looks fantastic and is gleaming. He is in good form today. Yesterday he ate everything he should do, in two meals. but this morning I slept in from midnight until 5, so it meant I was late letting him out, and he still looks good. Jack and Logan have a visitor, baby basenji girl Zola. She is here on her holidays. A little girl, she always tends to bring some balance to the house when she comes. And Logan is positively love struck, as always.
Card Guidance: Money. The angel deck shouted to me today; I pulled out Sandalphon: "We angels bring you gifts from your Creator. Open your arms to receive".
. Sometimes we do not get into a receiving state. I have this problem with money. I can flow dream it easily; I can do the Laws of Attraction thing too where money is concerned, but I am not always "in the receiving state" for money. In other words, for some reason it is hard for me to accept money. Wayne Dyer talks about this too; he speaks about abundance being all around us, and is sent to us, but sometimes we just for some reason find it hard to accept and so we opt for a harder pathway. Perhaps when we think of the successful people we can look at their attitude to money; they may be able to take money quite easily with no hangups.
There are arguments about whether money is a gift or not. God created us, we somehow created this exchange, which is money. Money is really an exchange of energy; and it is made of energy. We should be able to "open" our "arms to receive" without any hangups. When we have it we don't need to be selfish with it either, we can choose to spread it, and in doing so keep the energy flowing in the world. Children are fabulous at doing this; - when you give to a child, they receive your gift of money, toy, treat, or what ever with big smiles and happiness. They never say "oh no I can't really" .... Thank you Sandalphon for this gem of thought for today.

Life tip from Jack - Do something New!
Where did our summer go???? - There is a little "bite" in the air today...
I love the Spring. Jack seems to like the warmer weather too, but doesn't care much for when it gets too hot. He has taken to paddling. A new thing for Jackory; something new he has just

found! - And he must be at least 14 or so. I guess we can all learn something new, even when it seems our life is drawing to a close. How incredible is that? - He has also taken to looking for something on his walks for me and bringing it home. He has done this in the past when he has found something special (an abandoned ball, or a toy); but now he has taken to bringing me a trophy home, a twig, a bit of small branch. Anything really he can find, but normally it is something of "wood".
Jack has inspired me - I was going to book Logan in for a clip tomorrow, but instead Jack is going for some pampering. Our Jack has never been pampered in a salon, so tomorrow it is his turn. I could really do with taking Logan, as his hair has grown long from the last clip and he is bringing in a lot of dust, grass with him from the walks. But I can wait just a bit longer, I can't afford to have them both done this month!
Jack and Logan will have company tomorrow, my daughter is home with her family, so it will be nice to see them, and their dog is staying with us while they do their family travels to see friends and relatives. So our home will be buzzing again, and I get to have a little girl, baby basenji Zola, to stay.
Treatment update
Jack didn't have the urinary support/N-tense yesterday, he avoided all foods I tried with it in, so I gave up I have to say. But he had his apricot kernals and his digestive enzymes. He is now having a vitamin/mineral support with treats and his coat looks great. Logan is having some of the treats as well, to support the diet they are now having.
New Moon
We have had a new moon which has brought eclipse to us, this generally heralds big changes so we shall see. The new moon came in around 01 August, so it is just getting bigger now. Perhaps the new moon is inspiring Jack... write and let us know your tip for life this month!

I havent posted in a few days, I miss my blogging now when I don't post.
Jack
Jack had a good day yesterday, better than the day before. His nose isn't as wet and cold though as it used to be; but he asked for the garden and to play; his favourite is retrieving something you've thrown. He just loves that.
Food wise: Cut back to 2 meals a day, which is a "natures menu", Jack seems to enjoy it and eats the two meals, so far, anyway, even with the "treatments" added to it, like the N-tense and the apricot kernals.
Logan is a lot quieter of late, a bit subdued and maybe even depressed. He doesn't seem very happy really; I gave him a cuddle today and he didn't even wag his tail. He is not a dog for hugs sadly!
The lady (I think she has settled in nicely, what do you think?)
